  • Slurred speech
  • No withdrawal from painful stimuli

  • Difficulty awakening the person
  • Erratic behavior
  • Feeling very ill, including long, drawn-out vomiting
  • Slow, shallow, or irregular breathing
  • Blue-tinged skin or pale skin
  • Inability to make eye contact or hold a conversation
